Logos and Business Cards + Process Photos

Final Calligram:
Just in case I didn't do it correctly as above, here is my backup.
*(I might have done some over thinking in terms of what would be accepted for Apollinaire's way : | )*
()

Logos:

BSN Cards:

I used photos from the following sources:

Here are the photos of the Calligram process:
Original sketch of my Calligram idea

Basically a bridge of destruction from what was natural to what is now man-made.

A clearer sketch of what I am trying to convey.
I drew the tree with the pencil tool.

Sketches for the ideas for the Logo assignment:

I started to put the fire in until I realized that this wasn't going to really be a sketch in Apollinaire's way so I decided to simplify the idea a bit.

So I took out the fire and just let it straight from nature to industry implying the fire and destruction.

Started to have spacing issues with the text.
This shape made it look horrible when the text was over it so I had to reshape it with the white arrow and pen tool.
Finally got a closed shape and the all the letters in the right places.
I decided to use the blob tool to give the art a bit more 'pop'/energy.
Then I realized I could just fill the shape with the poem but I decided against it because I liked it a lot better with the full green fill.
 More progress.
I wanted to really show the destruction/destructive tendencies of industry as is further illustrated in the below photo.
(see above photo and description)

Here are the process photos for the Logos/BSN Card Assignment

Original sketches with what I was to do. (Jewish and Penguins were how I best relate : D  )
 Gotta do your research!
First attempt at making a full triangle (cut from a rectangle)
 FAIL, uneven edges.
 So I used a square!
Yay triangle!

Used pen tool to trace the penguin.

Made a clipping mask to get rid of the background.

Used the image as a symbol to put on sphere.
Placed the star of David but then readjusted layers so it would be behind everything else.
 (see above desciprtion)

Used shape builder to make a star that had spaced within it.

 Star with space in it...
 More spaces!

                                                          Uh oh!
Gotta expand if you want it to be vectorized and be able to be shrunk or expanded to any given size (effectively).
